Top of a tall cross near to Llandudno in North Wales, UK

The Kelpies are 30-meter-high (98 ft) horse-head sculptures situated in Grangemouth in The Helix, a parkland project built to connect the communities in the Falkirk Area, Scotland.
The Kelpies (shape-shifting water spirits) were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and were completed in October 2013.
For a short time, they were the tallest equine statues in the world until Pegasus and Dragon were completed the following year.

The name was chosen to reflect the mythological transforming beasts possessing the strength and endurance of ten horses. The Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges, and coal ships that shaped the geographical layout of the Falkirk area.

St. Giles is an iconic church in Scotland. A Service of Thanksgiving was held in the Queen's honor at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh. King Charles III stood vigil with his siblings in the medieval cathedral as more than 20,000 mourners paid their respects.

St Matthew Stained Glass
Stained glass window representing Saint Matthew, Buckfast Abbey, Devon, UK, England

The original monastery at Buckfast was founded during the reign of King Cnut in 1018. The first Abbey was Benedictine. In comparison with the fifty or so other abbeys in 11th century England, Buckfast was small and unprosperous. The came the Dissolution.

After this destructive period, the Abbey started to be restored. The first six monks returned at Buckfast on 28th October, 1882. The remainder arrived during the next few weeks. :The monks then uncovered most of the rest of the foundations of the 12th century Cistercian Abbey. Substantial foundations of the domestic buildings were being uncovered as late as 1997. By March 1884, Walters had made accurate drawings of the foundations, and put forward another design for the rebuilding of the Abbey in the style of the mid-12th century, based on studies of other Cistercian Abbeys such as Kirkstall and Fountains.

Portrait photo of a highland cow that was one of the small herd at Hynish on the Island of Tiree. Famed for its beautiful beaches the island is part of the Inner Hebrides in north west Scotland.

A fine art photograph of the tide coming in at a small beach on the Moray coast, north east Scotland.

The old jetty at Dores on the shores of Loch Ness has almost disappeared completely, however the pier stumps make for an interesting feature more so what it's a dreary day.

A few of the standing stones are captured in this photo adding to the mystic of this amazing location.

This area of North Uist borders the island of Benbecula on the Outer Hebrides. The reserve is covered with rocky and often boggy moorland dotted with lochans and is host to an abundance of flora and wildlife.
